A best friend knows exactly what ur thinking...all the time. They are someone who doesn't want anything after giving, who doesn't mind if you're wandering off with another friend for a few days because she/he knows your friendship is so strong that nothing can come in your way and nothing can ever destroy your tight bonds. A best friend knows when you're faking it infront of someone and when you're smile is a lie towards someone you dislike. They can pick you out of a crowd of 2000 people just because they know your bubbly personality stands out from everyone else. They can sense things no one else can even think of and they know when your "I'm fine" means you're completely distraught but you would rather not ruin anyone else's day with your problems. They never forget your important memories and they always know what to say when you're down because they know you better than they know themselves. Most people that call some of their friends best friends might have a lot to think about...trust me...you might think you know him/her but you might just have to double-check. It's never too late to be sure...it might just make it that little bit better :)
